Pre-War German hammerless shotgun made by J.P. Sauer and Sohn in Prussia circa 1920. Blued 30" Krupp steel 12 gauge barrels with raised matted rib with Sauer markings at breech on each barrel and "PRUSSIA" on barrel flats. Barrels have ejectors, bead front sight, 2 - 3/4" chambers, plugged sling swivel mount, and fixed Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes. Case hardened scalloped boxlock action with sideclips, Greener style crossbolt, double triggers, automatic safety, and floral engraving. Checkered walnut English grip buttstock with professionally added 1" pieced stock and added leather face pad giving this gun a 14 - 3/4" pull. Matching checkered walnut splinter forearm with latch release and ebony inlay. CONDITION: 95% original blue fading in places to a brown patina with some light carry wear. 90% original case colors with carry areas worn silver. Wood has matching 1" piece professionally added with leather faced pad and added coat of varnish. Great bores and mechanics. A great looking gun. DLM
