Iconic small ring Commercial Mauser with a post-War "GERMANY" marked holster. Classic 5 - 1/2" barrel with "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORF A/N" over chamber, offset serial number, "(Crown) / (Crown) / U" proof on left side of chamber. Numerous proofs on flat on underside of chamber. Rear sight with adjustable slide out to 1000 yards. Barleycorn front sight with V notch rear sight. Matching numbers (including partial) observed on bolt carrier, bolt stop, floorplate, locking block, hammer, subframe, frame, sear, and inside of both grips. Left grip scale is stamped "L.E.B." at top, which appears stamp applied, right grip with "LHI", and appears field done, as it is cruder. Fixed lanyard loop stud with ring. Belt holster with pouch for stripper clips (1 inside, marked "D.M." in circle), offset catch and insert for tool, vacant. Marked "GEMRANY" of overstrap. CONDITION: Overall good, retaining the majority of the blue finish, with silvering to left side of barrel and high edges. Markings are clear. Scattered mossing and patination throughout, minor peppering on right side of chamber. Bore is good with strong rifling and some minor pits toward muzzle. Holster is good with crazing and scrapes throughout, most prominent at back of body, but pliable and serviceable. EMW
