Model 1920 Commercial Luger manufactured by DWM for commercial sales during the interwar period. "(Crown) / N" commercial nitro proof is present on the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. Left side of frame is stamped "GERMANY". Major metal components are blued, while some smaller components are strawed. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered walnut grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, trigger, receiver, barrel, and rear toggle link. Pistol is accompanied by "Karl Barth / Waldbrol" marked "1938" date black leather holster containing a loading tool. CONDITION: Metal components exhibit wear and thinning overall that shows through to gray and brown patina, with some areas of mild surface oxidation. Bore exhibits moderate pitting and retains good rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing overall and a few scattered impressions, but are otherwise fine. Holster exhibits wear overall, exhibiting scattered marks from handling and storage and some areas of crazing.
