Smith & Wesson 5 screw K frame revolver chambered in .38 Special with a sandblast blue finish. Features a 4" pinned barrel, 6-round fluted cylinder, smooth wooden stocks, and lanyard loop with attached leather lanyard. Color case hardened trigger, hammer, and lanyard loop. Left side of barrel marked "SMITH & WESSON". Right side of barrel marked "38 S.&W. SPECIAL CTG". 2-line patent marked on top of barrel. Left side of top strap marked "U.S. NAVY". Left side of frame has "PROPERTY OF U.S. NAVY" filled in with red paint. Sideplate has Smith & Wesson trademark and right side of frame marked "MADE IN U.S.A.". Serial number "V103616" marked on bottom of butt. Matching serials on barrel flat, crane, cylinder face, star extractor, and inside of right stock. CONDITION: Very good overall with 85% of sandblasted blue finish remaining. Handling marks and slight scratches throughout with some high contact points turning a silver patina. Slight cuts and dings in stocks especially on edges. Bright bore with good rifling. Good mechanics. GFP.
