Lot consists of: (A) World War II US Navy Waltham Watch Co. aircraft clock, which was wonderfully mounted at the center of a cut down Sensenich propeller. The clock is properly marked on the reverse with US Navy specifications and exhibits a white paint US Navy stamp. The propeller is marked "MODEL 43K10107 / SER NO AE43-C-7850 / Sensenich". The serial number indicates that it was built in the 1940s, and the 43K component indicates this prop was manufactured under military contract. This propeller would have been compatible with a variety of aircraft with 65hp engines. CONDITION: The propeller is nicely finished. Clock does not appear to wind but comes with paperwork stating it was overhauled in 1997. (B) WWII US Navy Mark I ship's compass manufactured by The Lionel Corporation. The compass is contained in its original wood case. CONDITION: Paint is in good condition, on the case and compass. Glass cover exhibits scattered blemishes. Case hooks are bent. Original 1943 inspection tag is still attached. A nice example of a WWII compass.
