A beautiful early 20th century Austrian bronze and glass lamp. The 8 - 1/2" diameter tear-shaped glass shade has a background of cream-colored glass, featuring a swirled pattern in purple with subtle iridescence. The shade is mounted on a monumental bronze lamp base, which features a soldier on horseback, kissing a woman. Condition: The shade is in excellent condition, free of cracks or chips. The base is in excellent condition, free of cracks or dents to the bronze. The patina is well-preserved.
