Imperial German naval dagger with a "M over anchor" marked nickel plated blade with light scattered marks and a couple of tiny spots of freckling. Brass cross guard and fireball pommel retain 70-75% of their gilded finish with patina. The dual brass wire wrapped lacquered wood grip has light wear, very light crazing, and staining throughout. The pommel is loose. The grip/ tang has been bent at the cross guard, and is approximately 10 degrees off-center. A Third Reich era "Cello" portepee is attached. The brass scabbard retains approximately 35% of its original gilding, with patina. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
