6-1/8" closed, 10-3/16 fully open. c. 1937-1941. Pattarozzi Type 1a FKm with spear point blade etched with knight logo and SMF SOLINGEN ROSTFREI, marlinspike blade stamped with stick eagle logo and the number 5. Underside of lever release stamped 901. Original steel bail at end of handle. Beechwood scales, lightly scratched on the obverse scale with BILL MEZIVED (?) FRANCE 1944, presumably the name of the American capturer. Functions correctly with typical looseness when open. Blade with fine sharpening scratches and light use, scales with a few dings and stains, overall very good.
