Made by E.K. Tryon, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania circa 1840. 32" twist steel barrels with concave rib marked "PHILADELPHIA" in script. Patent breech percussion ignition system with both gold and platinum bands at breech. Back action percussion locks marked "TRYON" with double trigger control. Checkered walnut stock with steel hardware and Philadelphia style pineapple finials on trigger guard and entry pipe. Comes with original ramrod. CONDITION: Overall good with metal turning a brown patina with visible twist pattern. Solid stock with traces of original varnish. Good bores with good mechanics.
