5-shot percussion cylinder with appropriate proofs over each chamber, with a roped border at the fore. Octagonal barrel with dressed muzzle, V notch rear sight integral to top strap, dovetailed bead front sight, 30 King Street address on top strap, and offset view and proof marks. Light floral scroll about the frame, including a "GNC" in gothic script on left side, patent number on right. 1 piece checkered walnut grips with trap concealing grip screw, engraved with a shell motif. No loading rammer, nor provision for one. Housed in a contemporary case with modern green baize lining and housing a powder flask, turn screw, nipple wrench, bullet mold marked with Adams touchmark and "764 / 38", sprue cutter of newer manufacture than brass legs, oil jar, ramrod, and key. CONDITION: Good, retaining approximately 60% of the English high polish bluing, most losses to barrel with some scattered marks to frame. Grip is very good, some minor abrasion to heads, one very minor crack to base of spine. Mechanically fine, bore is good with strong rifling and a few spots of pitting. Case is very good as newer construction, baize commensurate, accessories very good, most handling marks to bullet mold body with aforementioned restoration to sprue cutter.
