U.S. Springfield Model 1903 made at Springfield Armory in 1939. "SA" marked parkerized finish barrel with Flaming Bomb and dated 6-42 with hooded front sight and rear flip sight graduated to 2800 yards. Parkerized finish action with correct swept handle unmarked bolt and parkerized milled trigger guard. Plain walnut scant style stock with "K" in cut-off switch slot for Keystone Ordnance Works, humped top wood, smooth steel buttplate, and correct hardware. Comes with period leather military sling and correct oiler in butt. CONDITION: 90% original military finish with handling wear and light usage marks. Stock has plain original hand rubbed appearance with light marks. Good bore with ME of 1 and TE of 2 with good mechanics.
