Frame was manufactured circa 1900 with later 7 - 1/2" 3rd Generation Single Action Army barrel chambered in .45 Colt with blade front sight, single line barrel address, and frame notch rear. Embellished outside of the factory with about 75% coverage scroll engraving, nickel plated main assemblies, and gold plated on ejector rod housing, cylinder, trigger, and hammer. 2-piece imitation Mother of Pearl replacement grips. CONDITION: Excellent, with virtually all of the added plating remaining and engraving sharp. Light freckling can be seen underneath finish in scattered areas, especially trigger guard and lower frame. Grips are oversized and have gaps near rear of frame, but do not show any cracks or signs of distress. Action is out of time and relationship between hammer and sear could use assistance as hammer only has 1st and 4th stops. Bore is dark.
