“Rare” is a relative term, used often to describe things that are anything but. Although there may be more valuable packs in this auction, there are few, if any, tougher to find than this authenticated 1971 Topps first series football rack pack. Many believe 1971 to be one of the shortest print runs in Topps history. The treasures that could lie within are endless Hall of Famers, but opening this beautiful relic would be out of the question, or would it? One thing is for sure - they’re not making these anymore and there aren’t nearly enough left to keep up with overwhelming demand of unopened collectors.
