Of the curated collection of 1975 star racks offered in this sale, perhaps none are more iconic than this example, which represents one of the classic rack packs of the 70’s. The disco prism of colors that compose the borders of this set draw the holder back nearly 50 years to the rookie card of one of the era’s greatest players. Known as “Rockin Robin,” or simply, “The Kid,” Robin Yount advanced to the majors at 18 years old, proceeded to collect 3142 hits, was a first ballot HOFer and represents an era of baseball where the superstar could stay with the home team (in this case Milwaukee) for his entire career. Will be a wonderful centerpiece of an advanced unopened collection.
