Steve “Lefty” Carlton had so established himself as a dominant force by 1973, that Topps decided to use his likeness on the wax pack wrapper of this PSA authenticated wax pack. Unknown series could contain high grade example of HOF Mike Schmidt’s rookie card, countless other stars of the era like Ryan, Jackson and Rose, or the last regular issue cards of Munson, Clemente and Mays.
