Single Action Army revolver manufactured by Uberti for the American Historical Society, commemorating George S. Patton. Metal components exhibit a silver plated finish, while the frame is mounted with smooth 2-piece faux ivory grips. Each grip exhibits a medallion in red, white, and blue, and reads "1885/ ****/ 1945", with the right grip exhibiting a hand-scribed "GSP" monogram. The frame, cylinder, and barrel exhibit engraving, matching that of Patton's own Single Action Army revolver, and include scroll engraving on a stippled background overall, with crosshatch patterns, floral motifs, and starburst designs on the frame. Features include a 4 - 3/4" barrel, standard SAA pattern front & rear sights, as well as a butt mounted lanyard swivel. Matching numbers are present on the frame, loading gate, as well as on the rear cylinder face. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their factory applied silver plated finish, exhibiting a some minor areas of discoloration overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting what appears to be some old grease in the lands, and retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips are excellent.
