An interesting British medal bar named to George W. Carpenter. The medals are nicely mounted and consist of a unnumbered Mexican Border Service Medal named on reverse "G.W. CARPENTER", US World War I Victory Medal with Somme, Offensive, Ypres-Lys, and Defense Sector clasps, New York State Medal for Mexican Border Service numbered "9676", New York State WWI Victory Medal, Sons of the American Revolution WWI Service Medal, British War Medal engraved "GEORGE W. CARPENTER 1209385" French Military Medal, Croix de Guerre, and French commemorative medal for WWI service. CONDITION: Medals exhibit a varying patina with light wear and scattered blemishes.
