Circa 1985. Italian boxlock sporting gun built with 27 - 1/4" mono-bloc barrels with vent rib, fore bead, ejectors, 2 - 3/4" chambers, Italian proofs for 1985, 12 gauge IBD proofs for .725, "Acciaio Special" steel proof, KCI 370 proof, serial number, and final proof. Screw in chokes, "3" and "4" installed, Slightly Schanbel forearm with Deeley style release, matching serial number on interior iron and last 4 stamped in wood line. Blacked action with floral engraved hinge pin, "Perazzi MX5C" gold inlaid on left side, single trigger with selective safety on tang. Gun is inertia driven and is non-auto safe. Fiddlebacked honey colored stock with side panels, point pattern checkering around the wrist, Perazzi pad. Gun comes in a black Perazzi hard case with choke wrench, extra chokes, stock wrench, Allem release trigger dated 1999, and 5 extra choke (5, 6, 7, 8, 9). CONDITION: Overall very good, with some oil spotting to barrels from prolonged storage, retaining virtually all of the bluing to both barrels and action, some losses to safety selector. Wood excellent, showing some very minor handling marks (mostly on right side of comb), checkering sharp. Mechanically fine, ejectors in time, barrels are very good with light frosting. Case is very good with some age related discoloration and oil staining.
