Striking map of America, showing California as an island, dated 1749. The map measures approximately 28" x 21" and features very nice hand colored highlights. CONDITION: Evident water damage and edge wear. Scattered crease lines, especially where the map was folded in half. This map was once part of the renowned John K. Lattimer Collection.
