Scarce and early, 1870-1880s Texas Hope saddle with exposed tree. Unmarked with rawhide tree, 12" seat, 3” cantle, and 5" across a Mexican style horn. Hand tooled fenders feature center floral patterns with leaf edged designs overall. Retains classic mission style wood stirrups. Each side of the saddle its adorned with 7 brass scalloped edge conchos. CONDITION: Pleasing russet brown color and excellent overall condition. Some rawhide thread separation just under the horn.
