Silver mounted parade saddle with matching parade-style bridle, bit, and martingale. Made by Keyston Bros. of San Francisco, circa 1940. Saddle is adorned with intricately engraved latigo conchos, 3 - 1/2" floral engraved skirt plates with rope border gold horse heads by San Francisco master saddlery silver worker Shaezlin. Black leather is entirely artistically hand tooled with vine and flower floral patterns and stippling over the entire saddle, skirt, and fenders. Maker stamped just behind the horn with the classic running bison Keyston Bros. of San Francisco stamp. Cantle features a large 6" x 3" silver cantle plate with a horse head in gold on either side. Saddle has a 15" seat with a 4" high cantle. Bridle is adorned with silver ferrules and sterling conchos. Unmarked Crockett bit is 6 - 1/2" total length and is silver overlaid with large 3" hand engraved conchos. Bit has a 5" opening with a Salinas mouthpiece. Breast collar features a stunning 2 - 1/2" hand engraved sterling concho with gold horse head center motif. A very nice complete set. CONDITION: Excellent overall with only minor stabilization needed to address rotten ties that attach rear jockey to the square skirt.
