Pre-War rare German "Doppelbuchsdrilling" or side by side rifle barrels over shotgun barrel made in Suhl, Germany by Ernst Kerner and Karl Funk circa 1920. Blued 25 - 5/8" Nitro proofed Krupp steel barrels with rifle barrels in 9.3x74R over a 16 gauge shotgun with matted raised rib, ramp front sight, flip notch rear sight, and claw scope mounts fitted with modern Docter 3-12x56mm scope with post reticle. Shotgun barrel is choked Full with 2 - 9/16" chamber. Boxlock "Muzzelverschluss" (Clamshell) case hardened action with Hirsch and wild boar game scene engraving, cocking indicators, scalloped rear action, Greener style crossbolt and safety, tang barrel selector, double triggers (both set), and steel trigger guard. Checkered European walnut pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, 1 - 1/2" horn stock extension, steel grip cap, silver oval monogrammed vanity plate, and diamond ebony reinforcement inlays. Matching checkered walnut splinter forearm with latch release. Import marked action. CONDITION: 90% original barrel blue with scratches and hunting nicks. Action has faded to a silvery patina with case colors in protected areas. Varnish has dull appearance from use with checkering worn flat. Good bores and optics. Good mechanics with set triggers out of adjustment.
