Pre-War rare German "Doppelbuchsdrilling" (double rifle barrels over a shotgun barrel configuration) made in Suhl, Germany by Christoph Friedrich Triebel in 1930. Blued 23" Nitro proofed Bohler Blitz steel barrels with rifle in 8x65R over a 12 gauge shotgun barrel with matted raised ramp front sight, fixed notch rear sight, and slotted dovetail scope mounts fitted with modern Aimpoint optic. Shotgun barrel is choked Full with 2 -3/4"" chamber. Scalloped boxlock coin finish "Blitz" action with hirsch and red stag game scene engraving, Greener style crossbolt and safety, tang barrel selector, and double triggers (both set), and steel trigger guard. Bavarian style checkered walnut pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, hard rubber buttplate, and hard rubber grip cap. Matching checkered walnut splinter forearm with latch release. Import marked action. CONDITION: 90% original barrel blue with scratches and hunting nicks. Action has large portion of original coin finish. Varnish has sharp appearance with checkering still sharp. Good bores, optics.
