After returning to the basketball card market in 1969 with their first issue in over a decade, Topps released this (now BBCE authenticated) 1970/71 Topps Basketball First Series Wax Box box. It contains 24 packs, with 10 cards and a Topps Action poster in each, for a total 240 “tallboy” cards and 24 posters. This series is absolutely loaded with stars like Wilt Chamberlain, Lew Alcindor, John Havlicek, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Pat Riley (rookie), all of whom are possibly in high grade, should the purchaser decide to open this box to reveal the contents. A nearly identical first series box recently sold for nearly $200k at auction! The display box is in fantastic condition with only moderate shelf wear. An absolutely epic addition to your unopened collection!
