Standard configuration P.08 manufactured by DWM for the Imperial German military. The receiver is stamped "1913" over the chamber, with DWM arsenal proofs on the right. Toggle bears the intertwined "DWM" logo. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. All numbers are matching with the exception of the unmarked replacement sideplate, unnumbered grips, and the magazine. Magazine is of Simson manufactured bearing "(Eagle) / 6" waffenamts and the serial number "1403a". CONDITION: Metal components retain fair to good amounts of their arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning to gray patina, as well as areas of oxidation overall. Strawed components are in-the-white and exhibit areas of pitting. Poor bore, exhibiting pitting and trace rifling throughout. Grips are worn smooth, with the left grip panel exhibiting a loss around the provision for the grip screw.
