Standard configuration P.38 manufactured by Spreewerke during World War II. Left side of slide bears typical markings with Spreewerke's "cyq" code. Right side bears a sunburst stamp as well as Spreewerke "(Eagle)/ 88" waffenamts on either side of an eagle firing proof. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved pressed resin grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. CONDITION: Metal components retain traces of their original blue finish, with the balance exhibiting a mottled gray patina with scattered areas of inactive oxidation overall. Dark bore, exhibiting oxidation and fair rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise fine.
