Type III M1795 configuration musket produced by the Harpers Ferry arsenal during the War of 1812, bearing an "1813" date on lock. The 44 - 3/4" barrel bears standard sunken intaglio "US" and "P" over eagle head proofs, in addition to a "CP". Further down the barrel "COND G HAY" and "1R 1ST B 4TH D" are double stamped, indicating the musket was conditioned by George Hay under the Pennsylvania Militia Act of 1822.
