Winchester Model 52 Pre-A Sporter made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1937. Blued 24" Winchester Proof Steel with hooded ramp front sight, no rear sight provision, and Lyman receiver sight. Unmolested blued action with matching electropencilled speed lock bolt, safety still on left hand side. Blued trigger guard marked "SPORTING". Checkered walnut diamond pattern stock with ebony forend tip, early "dish" style cheekpiece, blued checkered steel buttplate, and factory quick detachable sling swivels with cuts for sight on both sides of receiver. Comes with leather sling and aftermarket "W" marked 5-shot detachable magazine. CONDITION: 90% original blue with light edge wear. 85% original varnish with some dings and nicks and light flaking on edges. Good bore and mechanics.
