Extremely desirable Winchester Model 65 in .218 Bee caliber made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1937. One of 5,714 manufactured with this example built in the first year for .218 Bee production. Blued 24" Winchester Proof Steel barrel with Winchester address, "-MODEL 65-" and caliber markings with hooded ramp front sight (missing hood) and rear 22G adjustable sight. Blued solid frame receiver with button magazine and plain trigger. Plain walnut pistol grip stock with blued checkered steel buttplate and matching plain walnut forearm. CONDITION: 90% blue with light rust speckles from long term storage. 85% varnish with light scratching and handling marks. Good bore and mechanics.
