Lot consists of: (A) World War II Model 1932 Royal Hungarian Air Force Dagger with no maker mark. The blade features etched scroll motifs for about half its length that flank the gold washed Hungarian Coat of Arms. Brass spread winged eagle guard with eagle head pommel and black fluted hard rubber grip. Complete with brass scabbard that features patriotic and foliate motifs as well as the Hungarian Coat of Arms. CONDITION: Blade exhibits a nice patina with scattered areas of freckling especially on the obverse toward the tip. Hilt with nice patina and handling wear to grip. (B) Third Reich SA dagger with a "CARL HEIDELBERG SOLINGEN" marked nickel-plated steel blade. Guard with district mark "S" for Nieder-Schlesien. Wood grip with SA eagle that appears to have been replaced, and missing SA roundel. Steel scabbard with possible repaint. Chape features both screws while throat fitting is missing both screws. CONDITION: Blade with gray patina, light to moderate runner and scattered marks, and scattered freckling. Fittings exhibit a dull patina with scattered freckling and blemishes. Wood grip with handling wear and scattered light dents. Scabbard with moderate scattered blemishes. Nickel plated fittings exhibit scattered blemishes.
