Intended to be a lighter, handier version of the Remington Number 1 Rolling Block rifle, the 1 - 1/2 was produced for 2 years between 1884-1886 with an estimated total production of 2700. 28" tapered octagon barrel chambered in .32 Rimfire with German silver blade front sight and rifle rear sight. 2 piece walnut stock and forearm with steel forearm cap and steel buttplate. CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original finishes worn to a gray-brown patina. Stock and forearm are very good with no major signs of distress and handling marks throughout. Mechanically fine. Bore is dark with visible rifling.
