Classic German made drilling by Herman Schneider, Zella-Mehlis, Germany in 1943. Blued 25 - 1/2" 16 gauge over 8 x 57JR Bohler Steel barrels with oak leaf chisel engraving at the breech, matted sight plane, extractors, bead blade front sight, flip down notch rear sight and fitted with claw mounted Zeiss "Zielvier" 4x scope with post reticle. Coin finished scalloped boxlock action with heavy chisel type oak leaf and game scene engraving, side clips, and double triggers with front being a set trigger. Gun has a horn trigger guard and top tang barrel selector, Greener style side safety, and crossbolt. Highly figured Bavarian style checkered pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, checkered horn buttplate, and oak leaf engraved grip cap. Matching checkered walnut splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 95% original blue with 95% original action finish with 95% original wood with light handling marks. Scope is slightly cloudy and could use professional cleaning. Good bores and mechanics.
