Produced in 1947 per the barrel date code as one of approximately 3,000 Routledge smooth bore rifles designed specifically to be used with .22 shot shells. Full blued finish throughout with a 24" barrel fit with bead sight. Takedown receiver bears standard markings. Fit with a plain walnut pistol grip grip stock with a checkered aluminum butt plate, and corrugated walnut slide. CONDITINON: Very good. The vast majority of the factory applied blued finish is retained throughout with some high edge silvering, handing marks, and a few scratches on the right side of the receiver. Stocks show only a few light handling marks. Bright bore showing some light pitting. Mechanically fine.
