Lot consists of: (A) British World War I medal bar with 1914 Star named on reverse "6780 / PTE A. HUBER, / WILTS. R." with "5TH AUG.-22ND NOV.1914" clasp, War Medal impressed "6780 PTE. A. HUBER. WILTS R.", and Victory Medal impressed "6780 PTE. A. HUBER. WILTS R.". CONDITION: Medals exhibit a moderate patina with wear to ribbons. (B) WWI medal group including 1914-15 Star named on reverse to "38079 / GNR. J. HYDE. / R.F.A.", War Medal impressed "59910 PTE. J. HYDE. N.Z.E.F.", and Victory Medal impressed "59910 PTE. J. HYDE. N.Z.E.F.". According to included records, Hyde was wounded twice, first on 11 October 1918 and again on 5 December 1918. CONDITION: Medals exhibit varying patina with wear to ribbons. (C) WWI medal group including War Medal impressed "45293 PTE. J.M. DONNELLY. WORC. R." and Victory Medal "45293 PTE. J.M. DONNELLY. WORC. R." contained in their original shipping envelope. John Donnelly is listed as wounded in the right thigh on 23 January 1919. CONDITION: Medals exhibit varying patina with light wear to ribbons. Envelope is fragile with legible text.
