These medals were struck with 4 corresponding campaign reverses with this example struck with the Rhodesia 1896 reverse. Several naming styles are encountered on these medals, with this example named around the rim with heavy engraved tall capitals "TROOPR W. BATTIS M.M.P.". Battis appears in the roles and is confirmed to have been issued the BSACM medal with Rhodesia 1896 reverse and is listed as a member of the Mashonaland Mounted Police. CONDITION: Medal remains bright with darkening of the ribbon. Good overall.
