Manufactured from 1913 to 1934, with the example produced prior to 1924 bearing the "MODEL 14 1/2" designation. Standard configuration "A" rifle with full blued short action receiver. 22 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .38-40, equipped with sporting sights and a full length magazine tube. An additional folding Lyman peep sight is affixed to the rear of the receiver. Plain walnut pistol grip stock with checkered blued steel "REMINGTON / UMC" butt plate, and corrugated walnut slide. CONDITION: Very good. Bountiful amounts of factory blue are retained throughout with some light thinning and silvering along high edges. Stocks have a few light marks and a coat of added finish, with the butt plate also reblued. Good, bright bore displaying well defined rifling. Mechanically fine.
