Scarce Model 12B manufactured from 1909 to 1936. Features include full blued finish, 24" octagon barrel chambered in .22 short, sporting sights, takedown receiver stamped "GALLERY SPECIAL", plain walnut half pistol grip stock with crescent steel "REMINGTON / UMC" butt plate, and corrugated walnut forend. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle retains the vast majority of its factory applied blued finish with freckling throughout and a few handling marks. Stocks show some evidence of field use but no signs of major distress. Good bright bore with well defined rifling and a few minor pits. Mechanically fine.
