Lot consists of: (A) Nicely mounted British medal bar named to James Lambert, Royal Navy. Lambert's medal group consists of his Queen's South Africa Medal impressed "J. LAMBERT, L.G.STO.1CL,. H.M.S. TERPSICHORE.", 1914-15 Star named on reverse "276241. / J. LAMBERT, / CH. STO., R.N." War Medal impressed "276241 J. LAMBERT. CH.STO. R.N.", Victory Medal impressed "276241 J. LAMBERT. CH.STO. R.N.", and Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (King Edward VII version) impressed "276241 JAMES LAMBERT, STO.P.O, H.M.S. SHARPSHOOTER." The HMS Terpsichore was a 1st Class twin screw cruiser that served between March 1901-March 1902, Lambert is confirmed on the rolls. The HMS Sharpshooter was an R-class destroyer launched in 1917 and served during WWI. Copies of some of Lambert's records included. (B) Mounted medal group named to Steward James A.W. Dougall, Royal Navy. The group consists of Dougall's Naval General Service Medal with Persian Gulf 1909-1914 clasp impressed "341555 J.A.W. DOUGALL, SH. STWD. H.M.S. ESPIEGLE", 1914-15 Star named "341555, / J.A.W. DOUGALL, / S.S. R.N,", War Medal impressed "341555 J.A.W. DOUGALL. S.S. R.N.", Victory Medal impressed "341555 J.A.W. DOUGALL. S.S. R.N.", and Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (King George V version 1) impressed "341555. J.A.W. DOUGALL, SH. STWD. H.M.S. ESPIEGLE". Dougall is listed to have served aboard the HMS Espiegle, a Cadmus-class sloop launched in 1900, and also the HMS Colombo, a C-class light cruiser built for the Royal Navy during WWI. CONDITION: Medals exhibit a light patina.
