Jarrett rifles are extremely well regarded in the hunting community, and they are colloquially known as the world's most accurate hunting rifles. Model 49 with in .300 Jarrett with a tapering barrel, engraved "Jarrett Rifles" and "300 Jarrett" on left side, no provision for iron sights. Receiver is drilled and tapped for scope. Textured black stock with an inset bronze colored medallion on right side for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, fit with a Decelerator pad. Sling studs at forearm and toe line. Trigger breaks at a crisp 3#. Accompanied by the Jarrett "best practices" sheets. CONDTION: Excellent, showing very few marks from handling and storage, including a small band on barrel from resting in a rack. Some silvering to operational points, primarily to bolt. Metal has some spots of oil staining. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with strong rifling.
