Manufactured in 1889. Blued 26" round barrel with classic .45-70 chambering, 2-line address rollmark, blade front sight, "1886" marked ladder rear sight graduated to 1,000 yards, and full length magazine tube. Attractive case hardened receiver with nitre blue loading gate and plain trigger. Fit with a plain grain walnut buttstock with crescent rifle butt plate. matching smooth walnut forend with case hardened nose cap. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel retains the vast majority of its factory blue with some toning and light wear. Case colors remain vivid with some carry wear on the belly. Stocks are fine showing some light impressions. Very fine bright bore displaying sharp rifling throughout with a couple minor pits. Mechanically fine. A nice clean '86.
