Standard configuration with German silver cone front sight, notch rear sight in top strap. Top flat of octagonal barrel with normal Remington manufacturer information and Rider's patent information. Fluted cylinder, silvered brass trigger guard. 2-piece walnut grips with single screw through escutcheon. Matching serial numbers on rear of cylinder, barrel, frame under grips. CONDITION: Gun is essentially gunmetal grey throughout with some light bluing, approximately 25-30% on barrel, mostly towards frame. Scattered chocolate patina throughout, with some pitting on cylinder which has been cleaned. Grips with marks from handling and storage throughout, including a scrape on left side and several indentations on bottom. Brass trigger guard with losses to silver, mostly at edges.
