Model 1950 Target in standard configuration with tall blade front sight, adjustable square notch rear sight. "SMITH & WESSON" on left side of barrel, .44 Special caliber designation on right side of 5 screw frame. Cocobolo S&W grips with checkered panels and medallions at top. Right side of frame with S&W trademark and manufacturer info. Case colored target hammer and trigger. In case with felt covered plastic trays French fitted for turnscrew, cleaning brush, and rod with brass brush, in original cardboard shipping sleeve with serial number on end. Case has a copy of an ad for the 1950. CONDITION: Excellent, with some minor handling marks from handling and careful use, with turn ring at cylinder ad some silvering at muzzle. Some superficial scratches, mostly to barrel, but scattered throughout. Case colors on hammer and cylinder are vibrant, with some silvering to edges. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with sharp rifling and some minor frosting at edges of grooves. Case is fine with some handling marks, shipping sleeve with some age related distress and rubs.
