Remington Model 1917 Enfield made by Remington Arms Company in 1918. Blued 26" round tapered barrel with military sights in .30-06 Springfield, marked with "R / (Flaming Bomb) / 2-18". Blued dog's leg style bolt with "E" stamping and action marked "U.S. / MODEL OF 1917 / REMINGTON" with side of action marked with a Flaming Bomb. Walnut military finger groove stock with "A" stamped tip and Elmer Keith's Ogden, Utah stamp in box O.G.E.K., S.A.A. rebuild stamp, and "H" and "P" in circle inspection stamps. Comes with 1917 dated Remington bayonet with green leather sheath and a L.F. & Co 1918 period leather sling. CONDITION: Overall good with 90% original blue. Cleaned varnish with some light scratches and chips and sharp inspection marks. Good bore and mechanics.
