C. 1910's, USA. A rare nicely glazed figurative ceramic tankard titled "The Kiss," or "Fisherman and Mermaid." Marked "V" under the lid and with museum de-accession numbers to the interior. This is a ceramic replica of the 1899 original famous Enid Yandell bronze "The Kiss". Condition: There are some small chips where the lid meets the body of the tankard. One chip to the mermaid tail. Deep crazing line to bottom. Glazed over firing line to the interior, which does not go through to the outside.
Condition: (Good).
