This early automaton depicts a 12" wax figure of the baby Jesus, laying in a wicker basket on a silk pillow. Playing a 3" cylinder with movement of lifting and lowering the head. Condition: Very good, the wax figure is complete and showing no damage or repair. The music box plays well and the basket is complete and in original finish. Motion is a bit sluggish, and would improve with service. A very unique automaton in excellent condition.
