Bronze sculpture of Socrates on black veined marble base. Marked "M 1/10". Nice dark brown bronze patina and attention to detail. Depicting an older Socrates, thinking deeply about something while standing in leaning position, with his one foot on the stoop, clinging tightly the scroll in his hand. Black marble base has a very lovely veining of cream, white and darker colors and is in very good condition with minimal wear, some minor roughness or chipping on edges, otherwise good. Figure is in excellent condition.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
