Browned heavy octagon barrel is stamped on the top flat "H. WEAVER" for Hugh Weaver (1830-1904), who built rifles in Ashland County, Ohio, beginning in the 1860s. German silver blade front sight and semi-buckhorn rear. Fit with a back action Golcher percussion lock and double set triggers. Stocked in fiery-grained tiger maple with brass patch box and crescent butt plate. CONDITION: NRA Fine.
