Manufactured in 1881 and shipped January 29, 1881 in a shipment of 15 guns to J.P. Moores Sons New York, New York. The Colt letter lists the gun as a .45 caliber, barrel length not listed, nickel finish, and rubber grips. Single action front sight with a V notch rear sight. 1-line address on top of the barrel. 6-shot fluted cylinder and a lanyard loop at the bottom of the grip. CONDITION: Gun is a gun metal gray patina with scattered pitting across the guns surface. The left grip has been repaired. Dark bore with pitting in the lands and grooves. The action works and cycles.
