Detective Special double action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1969. The left side of the barrel bears the model and caliber designation, while the right side bears Colt's 2-line address. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a lustrous blue finish, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered walnut grips. Rear of frame is mounted with a black anodized aluminum hammer shroud. Matching numbers are present on the frame, cylinder crane, and are handwritten on the interior of the grip panels. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their factory applied blue finish, exhibiting few minor superficial marks from storage and handling. Cylinder bears a light dragline. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Grips are excellent, showing some mild smoothing overall.
