Attractive Baby P.08 Luger produced by Lugerman (Eugene Golubtsov). The receiver is marked "1916" over the chamber, with the serial number on the left. Right side does not bear Erfurt arsenal proofs. Toggle is marked with a crown over "ERFURT". Front of frame bears an Erfurt "(Crown)/ RC" Revision Commission proof above a crowned arsenal proof. Toggle and receiver markings have been enhanced. Major metal components exhibit a deep blued finish, while some smaller components are strawed. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Additional features include a 3" barrel, as well as a shortened grip frame. Trigger, takedown lever, safety lever, grips, and barrel are of contemporary manufacture. All numbers are matching, having been numbered to match at the time of conversion. This example is accompanied by 2 modified Mec-Gar magazines. CONDITION: Extremely fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their reapplied blue finish, showing little indication of use or extensive handling. Strawed components are fine. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent overall. An attractive Baby P.08 Luger by Lugerman.
